Dogs Currently In Our Care
Dundalk Dog Rescue takes dogs from pound who have failed to be rehomed or reclaimed. We do not have our own premises and keep the dogs in commercial kennels while sourcing a place for them in a rehoming centre, predominantly in England. Our dogs tend to have a fast turnover as kennel life can be very distressing for them and we aim to place them one step closer to their forever home as soon as possible. The dogs that our in our care appear on Facebook, however, by the time someone sees the dog and contacts us the dog is normally already booked out. For that reason if you are planning on adopting a new family member the first step is to contact us for a meet and greet.
The dogs that feature on this page are the ones who have made it into foster and will be around for a bit longer. They are the old, sick and vulnerable ones who were not considered suitable for kennel life. Also when a dog is in foster a kennel dog is often prioritised over them when places are available in rehoming rescue.
